Hey, it’s Panda time!
Google has rolled out Panda algorithm update 3.9.2 on September 18, 2012.
According to Google this algorithm refresh will affect fewer than 0.7% of search queries. For your info, last Panda update 3.9.1, which rolled out almost one month back on Aug 19, 2012 affected <1% of queries.
Google has officially announced this by the below Tweet -
Panda refresh is rolling out—expect some flux over the next few days. Fewer than 0.7% of queries noticeably affected: goo.gl/woSU3
— A Googler (@google) September 18, 2012
The link on the Tweet leads to the official announcement of the first Panda update on Feb 25, 2011. Initially it affected 11.8% of search queries done on Google in the US.
Despite Google’s warning – “Expect some flux over the next few days”, it’s quite stabilized and has become a monthly affair now. On the other hand, a more lethal Google Penguin update is on its way.

I am fulling lucky, yesterday I got the highest number of organic visitors. That’s exactly 732. I think ” I am felling lucky “.
And I will say you are a great commenter. I just saw your conversation at basicblogtips. Such a insightful comment, actually you could have written an article with it.

Congrats for your highest traffic day. Beating Panda and Penguin is definitely an achievement these days.
Best of luck.
Is there anyway to know that our site is affected or not? Is there any site which can tell that my site is affected by these updates or not??

It’s so simple. Just check your traffic on and after Sep 18, if it has decreased drastically, say 25% or 40% or 50%, then it’s definitely affected by Panda.
